‘God Says Yes To Me’ A Taize service for Rangebow Festival
As part of the Rangebow Festival program, St George's Maleny will host a candle-lit contemplative liturgy with the music of the Taize community in France. Featuring meditative choral chants and sacred words, this beautiful 45 minute offering reflects on who we are to each other and includes an opportunity to light a candle for lives lost to violence and commit to blessing this world with peace. With liturgy by Rev’d Deborah Bird and music by Kim Kirkman’s Taize choir, “God Says Yes to Me” is an encounter of loving affirmation. Everyone welcome. 4pm Sunday August 4. Quiet Day with Kathryn Houston
Kathryn Houston has been practicing meditation in the Christian tradition for over 20 years and has led many retreats, quiet days, and workshops in Australia and other parts of the world. As a WCCM director she currently supports National Coordinators in over 65 countries.
