About Us

The Parishes of Maleny and Palmwoods are warm, vibrant family of small churches nestled in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland region with locations across Maleny, Montville,  Kenilworth, and Palmwoods.

We acknowledge the Jinibara and Kabi Kabi peoples, their continuing care and connection to land, waters, sky and culture, and express our commitment to voice and reconciliation.

We embrace an inclusive, generous and open-hearted Anglicanism, valuing the richness of our tradition where differences are seen as gifts to be valued and treasured.

We take seriously the imperative to love one another and embrace the mission of the global Anglican communion to:
– To promote community characterised by compassion, belonging and hopefulness
– To nurture spiritual growth
– To respond to human need with loving service
– To seek the transformation of unjust systems
– To safeguard the integrity of creation

We publicly support LGBTQIA+ people and take seriously the responsibility to safeguard LGBTQIA+ people of faith. You can read our #HonestChurch statement >here<
