Contemplative Taize: Candlemas

Taize is a peaceful time of prayers, poetry, chants and restful silence inspired by the Taize community in France.
On this occasion we celebrate Candlemas, the ‘festival of lights’ remembering the presentation of Christ in the temple. Bring a special candle from home for blessing!
Taizé is an ecumenical Christian community known for its simple and meditative style of worship. The emphasis on simplicity, silence, and prayer provides a unique opportunity for reflection and discernment. The community is open to people of all denominations and welcomes visitors from all over the world.
